Creating new knowledge about interreligious relations during the Spanish Middle Ages involves three primary goals.

1. Collaborating with cathedral, municipal, and national archives and libraries to make manuscript images available for investigation and public dissemination.

2. Collaborating with the public and other researchers to create digital transcriptions of manuscripts. Additionally, we study how best to teach paleographic methods.

3. Creating historical knowledge and disseminating it to scholars and the public through traditional publications and non-traditional publications. Additionally, we disseminate findings relating to paleography instruction.
